Due to the fact that it is built for budget users, it may not be as durable as a Japanese or Taiwanese Airsoft AEG Rifle. However, before sending it out to you, our airsoft gunsmith specialist will fully tested and examine the AEG to make it is working properly. AGM has made an excellent reproduction of the worlds first assault rifle. The heavy weight and feel of this reproduction are excellent, and the stamped pot metal exterior feels good even if it wears easier than steel. This gun shoots great but is too hot out of the box for most fields. Putting several thousand rounds through it will quiet down the spring, but you may have to get used to not playing it or being locked semi for a while.
This gun is HEAVY at about 11 pounds. You will get tired of humping it around all day. the long mag makes shooting from prone tough, as well as sneaking through heavy brush. The mags are high cap, and very tough. The feed tube is recessed, and lends a good milsim look.
The stock is the real downside of this gun. It comes in a hideous orange tint, which needs to be sanded and redone. Also, the sliding selector switch is a cop-out which should be a rotating switch. The sliding one has very shallow and narrow detents, and easily slides from one position to the next, sometimes with very little "feedback". This gun has a tendancy to slide out of safe mode with a couple pulls of the trigger or the slightest bumping of the selector switch. Semi is also difficult to find in the middle. I have also had friends whose switches have broken.
Accuracy is high, and the hopup is good and easy to operate while firing. Range very good; out to 60-65m. and ROF is about average for an AEG. Some taping between the reciever and stock eliminates all wobble front to aft.
Overall, a good, hard hitting if heavy weapon.
