The
EMG licensed Strike Industries GRIDLOCK LITE rail, produced by King
Arms, is specifically designed for Standard AR15/M4 style AEGs and the
Tokyo Marui MWS M4 platform. This rail offers a one-piece design,
minimizing weight and providing a cost-effective option for users. One
of its standout features is the Patent Pending Quick Rail Detach system,
which allows for easy removal of the handguard without the need for
tools. This system is one of the few on the market that allows for quick
field or home adjustments.
The Quick Rail Detach system is operated by a simple push and pull of
the QD latch, enabling the handguard to be removed within seconds. The
latest redesign of the QD latch includes a new locking button, ensuring
earlier latch-locking capabilities. The front portion of the GRIDLOCK
LITE features built-in flip-up backup iron sights (BUIS), providing a
convenient aiming solution.
The handguard is compatible with the M-LOK system at the 3, 6, and 9
o'clock positions, allowing for easy attachment of accessories. At the
rear of the handguard, there is an integrated 360-degree free swivel QD
socket, enabling a 2-point setup for sling attachment. The handguard
also features rear tabs with set screws at the top, facilitating proper
alignment and centering of the top rail with the upper receiver.
To accommodate suppressors up to 1.57" (39.9mm) in diameter, the
handguard has a cut in the front. Additionally, it is compatible with
all Strike Industries muzzle devices, including the SI OPPRESSOR, which
provides a compact and streamlined appearance for users seeking a tucked
look.
