Jing Gong VSR-10 with Scope (BAR-10)

I have been buying and selling a few differnet Chinese clones lately in a quest to get the best quality one. After purchaseing a Snow Wolf and a Well, I have finally settled on the Jing Gong Bar-10. The quality of this gun is way better than the other chinese guns.
I also own a propper Tokyo Maui which I would class a 10/10. The Jing Gong Bar-10 I would class as a 9/10. So it is very good.
This is the gun to go for over the other Chinese clones as this will last longer and it looks a lot better.
It does 420fps out of the box but if you cut the airbreak off, you will get it up to 480fps.

This sniper is practically a exact copy of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-spec, plus it comes with a scoop + mounts.

Use the Jing Gong sniper in combination with a Edgi inner barrel 435mm 6.01mm diameter an you are good to go.

Fps with Edgi barrel: 420fps

The box:

A simple yet quite sturdy box made from carton and styrofoam. Holds the weapon sturdily in place and works as a nice storagebox. Other than that it is simply a box.

The weapon:

When you get the gun, it is disassembled, meaning that you will have to install the actual gun into the stock. When you first pick up the stock you will notice it being very light. This is due to the hollow stock, accessable from the rear by removing the rubber buttplate, which allows for storage of small sidearms or spare magazins. You will also notice that the stock has a very nice rubberlike coating that looks great and offers a very good grip. The stock is of very good quality, even a bit better than Tokyo Marui's (TM) VSR 10 stock.

The gun itself is also of very nice quality, but not quite as good as the Tokyo Marui VSR 10. The barrel, reciever and all the mechanic (as in triggerhousing and sears, hopupchamber, charging handle and cylinder) are made from cast metal, being of rather acceptable quality, although not quite as good as the TM. The piston and springguide are made from sturdy and surprisingly good plastic, that handles the spring very well. The inner barrel is made from brass and is, after some polishing and cleaning (recommended for the whole gun) rather acurate.
The gun is very easily assembled, but the magazinrelease is a bit tricky. Patience and care and it is done in no-time.

The magazin is made from plastic but is quite good, holds 25 bbs and is easy to load.

The Scope:

The scope thas comes with the gun is amazingly well made and is easy to install and easy to zero in. It has a very clear sight and good eye relief. One of the better scopes available, and absolutely one of the best to come as an included acessoir.

Performance:

Out of the box the gun shoots at around 110- 120 mps (0,2g bb), presuming that it is all well tightened (this is easy to do and well discribed all over the internet.) but can, with a simple modification of the piston (cheapmod, removing the airbrake) be boosted to at least 130mps, sometimes even 150-160 mps.
The gun is easy to cock and the hopup is very easy to set to a good position. With a well tightened rifle, a good cheapmod and good bbs with a well adjusted hopup the gun is very acurate all up to 70+ meters.
Due to the hopuparms design it is very acurate and gives the bb a very sturdy and reliable spin.

Upgradability:

The weapon is a good clone of the TM VSR 10 and will take all the customparts for the VSR 10, is therefore very, very upgradable, easily able to exceed 220 mps with 0,2g bb. There are many fabricants for after market parts, all over.

All in All:

The JING GONG BAR 10 is one of the best airsoft sniper rifles, price-performance-quality-wise better than anything from the big names (Tokyo Marui, Maruzen and so on). It is affordable and very nice, i would recommend it to anyone, beginners and advanced players.
