The speedloader operates just fine and it's truly useful feature is the pistol adapter, which works very well and is useful for gas guns and spring pistols(it's virtually necessary). So far after maybe 1000 bb's it still seems fine. Though the construction seems more fragile then I thought for a $20 total speedloader - don't use this in a skirmish or you will shatter it - and the spring inside seems fairly weak. The grip styling of it actually makes it harder to load, but it isn't unacceptably annoying - it's just obvious it's slightly too wide. It jammed on me because the spring didn't stay in place after abut 500 rounds, but I just opened it up and realigned the spring - apperentally it has one extra part that doesn't have much use, I can't figure what to do with it. But if you ever need to take it apart it is a simple mechanism - so you can easily figure how to reattach it all. The safety is useless, I just removed it. It does come with a 80 round higher capacity, but I advise you instead either go with a pair of speedloaders or a KWA STANAG type speedloader.
